He added, “I have lived in this neighborhood for more than 10 years, and am delighted that I can bring Happen to the homes in Northside, an ever-growing and thriving community.”
Rueff added, “Although the [original location on] Beechmont Avenue location continues to serve us well, bringing more than 7,000 Happen experiences to 6-12 year old children each year, it’s time to spread our wings. I am pleased to announce that, thanks to the generous contribution and volunteer time provided by Procter & Gamble, we are about to open a second Happen location in Northside. This new facility will have a very positive effect on this diverse, cultural community and help us to bring our free programming to children on the west side of town for the next 52 weeks.”
In addition to the sponsorship and financial support from Procter & Gamble, Happen, Inc. has developed educational collaborations with several leading community organizations, including the Cincinnati Museum Center, the Cincinnati Children’s Museum, the Cincinnati Art Museum, and Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Cincinnati, enabling them to serve a much broader audience with their arts activities and programming.
