WEEK IN REVIEW (5-19-10)
Last thursday we had a surprise visit from Tommy's Shadow. The Shadow taught us how shadows are made and we even played a round of shadow charades. We learned all about how we can use sundials to tell time and even got to make our own out of clay.

Some primo sundials were created by Finn and folks.

Then on Saturday, we were visited by both Tony from the Cincinnati Museum Center and also by a friendly construction worker. The construction worker taught us all about communication and art. We even learned how to do the Happen cheer in sign language.

And this Tuesday we learned all about dinosaur bones, only to meet an archaeologist with an unconventional approach to his profession. Then we got to make our own fossil creations using pictures of actual dinosaur bones as well as the archaeologist's strange collection.

We really dig these new discoveries from our junior archaeologists.
